With Halloween just around the corner, the costumes and the decorations are being wheeled out for another year. Also, the horror movies are being restocked with old favorites and coming this September is the restored edition of An American Werewolf in London.
The Cult classic film directed by John Landis and stars David Naughton, Griffin Dunne and Jenny Agutter, this newly restored version features “groundbreaking, Academy Award winning make-up by Rick Baker (The Wolfman; Michael Jackson's "Thriller" Music Video).”
If you haven’t seen the movie, two American tourists are hiking when they happen upon an odd Tavern called The Slaughtered Lamb. They find themselves to be unwelcome guests and soon leave with an ominous warning to “keep clear of the moors.” Losing track of where they are and straying to the moors, the two are attacked by a giant wolf, leaving only one of the boys alive, cursed to become a werewolf.
