OPINION: Clowns Terrorize S.C, But Is It Real?
It sounds like a story taken from the local cinema, or ripped from the pages of a horror writer’s novel; children, on their way home from school are beckoned by clowns to come into the woods, where others are waiting with chains and knives. However, two days ago, news broke that there were clowns terrorizing a South Carolina community in Greenville County. The story has quickly made headlines across the country and anyone with coulrophobia (fear of clowns) has expressed utt

REVIEW: Don’t Breathe Will Have You Holding Your Breath
It’s rare that horror movie takes the number 1 spot in weekend box office, but Don’t Breathe has done so and it deserves it. The film was directed by Fede Alvarez and stars Jane Levy, Dylan Minnette, Daniel Zovatto, and Stephen Lang. Don’t Breathe is the story of three thieves that break into a blind man’s house to steal a large settlement that he received by the death of his only daughter. This film was nicely paced to add tension and Lang’s performance as the blind veteran

Pagan Day Fest is your answer! Pagan Day Fest has been celebrating ancient religions since 1999 and if you are in the California area and want to go, Pagan Day Fest will be held at the

WATCH: Korn Releases New Video And It's Creepy
If you grew up in the 90’s it’s very likely that you listened to, or at least heard of the Nu metal bands, the most popular (arguably) being Korn. With the release of their album Follow the Leader, in 1998, it sent the band and the genre into the stratosphere of popularity. Even the artwork on the album achieved recognition as it was illustrated by Todd McFarlane and his fellow artists over at Image Comics who were responsible for the Spawn comics. These days, Nu metal has ha

VIDEO: Jump Scares And Why They Suck!
Take two things I love, Horror and Magic and put them together, and you got my complete attention. Jack Nugent of Now You See It, as used the analogy of a magic trick to explain something that most horror fans seem to find as a cheap, uninspired thrill: the jump scare. Lazy jump scares seem to always jump out at us (oh yes and puns are always intended) as boring and poorly conceived, like the bad guy in the mirror cliché; however, Now You See It’s video essay shows us the

TRAILER: Rings Looks Creepy But Not Much Different
The New Trailer for Rings has dropped and it looks creepy as hell. This Paramount distributed film was previously known as Rings 3D and is helmed by F. Javier Gutiérrez. Starring Matilda Lutz, Alex Roe, and Johnny Galecki, the story centers around a young woman who’s boyfriend is enamored by the subculture that exists around the mysterious video, that after watching it, the viewer only has seen days to live. And, according to Wikipedia, “there is a “movie within the movie”

The real question is, is this news? No. But, maybe, just maybe, it will bring a smile to your face while I research my next article. So with out further ado I present to you a cat reacting to a horror film.

"It" House Photos Leaked on Reddit
Nestled in the picturesque town of Oshawa, a house is being constructed that is meant for only one thing: horror! This house is the infamous 29 Neibolt Street from the upcoming ‘It’ remake. Recently the released picture of Pennywise, the clown from the ‘It,’ was released and reviews are mixed. Now, I fully admit my basis for this is people who have come out and told me their feelings on the costume; some people like it, and some find it a little out of place, that it would b

‘Suckablood’ Hearkens Back to the Fairy tales of Old
Bloody Cuts Films has released Suckablood the 5th film in its horror anthology. This Gothic bedtime story was written and directed by Ben Tillett and Jake Cuddihy. The horrifying tale is about an evil step mother (is there any other in fairy tale stories?) who places a curse on her stepdaughter after she tries to stop her from sucking her thumbs. This curse calls forth the monster known as the Suckablood. I’ll leave the ending for you to see, but this visually striking film

Video Essay Breaks Down ‘The Witch’
We have become so accustomed to modern horror movies and their inevitable jump scares, that upon first viewing, someone, and I was certainly in this camp, may not have found Robert Eggers’ debut film The Witch that scary. However, while I didn’t seem scared, I soon realized that this was a great horror movie. The point was to feel uncomfortable, a sense of foreboding, a presence that was constantly there even though it wasn't seen, and the film did this to perfection. Howev
